"Alyssa of Hill Interiors designed and walked us through a complete renovation of our main living space. She is highly professional, gifted and creative. Alyssa’s signature style is one of beautiful, clean lines and modern sensibilities. She has the gift of being able to understand who you are and what you want your space to achieve; yet she is able to gently and mindfully expand your assumptions of all of that to stretch you and help you land on a design that is more than you could have hoped for. She was very patient and understanding of our need to think through different design choices, and we never felt that we had to make quick decisions. She has a breadth of knowledge and resources, of what is out there in terms of furniture and lighting, tile, paint, décor, etc. Additionally, for us, she worked with our contractor(s), and was with us every step of the way as we dealt with firing two contractors before finding the one that was amazing and perfect to complete the job. As most renovations are, it was at times very stressful and having to let go of contractors is never easy; yet Alyssa was gracious and calm in the face of some really difficult situations and shepherded us through the process with the professionalism and ease that are hallmarks of who she is. We are so pleased with all she has accomplished, and the kindness with which she accomplished it, so that in spite of some really rough patches, we are left with a beautiful home and some lovely memories of our time working together."
