Welcome to part 4 of a blog series featuring the beautiful spaces in “The House of Blues (In the Best Way)”! If you follow me on Instagram, then you’ve probably already had a preview of the Laundry Room & Powder Room that I’m digging into today, but I HAVE to officially document these pretty spaces and give you all the design deets, especially since having them professionally photographed. So, let’s kick this thing off with the

Laundry Room

Laundry is already a task that (for most) is less than desirable, but boy does it help when your laundry room is as pretty as this! The least we can do for ourselves is to create a space that feels like a little vacay whenever we step through the door, right?

I love this sweet wallpaper! It adds just the right amount of texture and interest and is such a lovely backdrop for those blue-gray cabinets. A walnut butcher block counter tops things off perfectly. (and did you see the washer & dryer? Obsessed with that navy blue…)

Alright, let’s jump across the hall to the

Powder Bathroom…

The first thing everyone notices in this space is the epic wallpaper… I mean… how can you not?! It’s called “Flashdance” and I think we can all agree that’s the perfect name. I love how this fun pattern plays with the ribbed wood-look tile wainscoting that runs around the perimeter of the room & up the vanity wall. Speaking of that tile…I. LOVE. That. Tile. You, guys. It’s the tile that I now want to use in every bathroom ever and it’s requiring a lot of self-control not to… wish me luck.

There was also a strange nook under the stairs (on the other side of that wall) that was just empty before. We decided to give that little niche a bit of functionality with some cute cabinetry and Walnut accents (that match the laundry room cabinets & countertops too!). I love how these two spaces are so different but also play off of each other so well.

So, there we have it. That’s a wrap on The House of Blues (in the best way) blog series, and I think these two little spaces were a fabulous grand finale!
